Recipe: Blackberry Honey Grilled Chicken

11 Jul

This was sort of a stumble-upon recipe. But oh, so good! Sweet and salty.

Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breasts (4 halves)
  • 1/2 jar of Crooked Birch Kitchen Blackberry Honey Jam
  • 1/8 cup of White Vinegar
  • 2 tsp of Sea Salt

Mix together jam, vinegar, and 1 tsp of salt in a small ceramic bowl until you get a nice glaze-like consistency.

Brush on all 4 halves of chicken breasts. Grill each side about 6-7 minutes, brushing more glaze on periodically.

Sprinkle a pinch of remaining sea salt on each breast when finished grilling. It’s out of this world good.

Recipe: Spicy Pineapple Chicken Skewers

7 Jul

A great summer appetizer…

  • Using about a 3/4 bottle of Crooked Birch Spicy Pineapple & Ginger Sauce, marinate about 20-25 fresh chicken tenders in a bowl for about 30 minutes.
  • Place each marinated chicken tender on a wooden skewer.
  • Grill each side on med-low for 6-7 minutes.
  • Serve on platter with remaining sauce in a dipping bowl.
  • So, so good!
